We are Steve and Melanie Smith, and we are the proud owners of The Treat Truck! With over 30 years combined experience in the food service industry, we began dreaming about owning a food truck not long after we got engaged.

 

When the pandemic hit in 2020 we started our family tradition called Ice Cream Sundays - a play on words where we go out for ice cream every Sunday with our children. At the time it was a safe way to do something fun socially distanced, and got us out of the house and exploring local businesses. For us, The Treat Truck is more than just an ice cream truck; it’s a family tradition that we want to share with everyone. As parents, we understand the importance of creating lasting memories with our children, connecting in person and off of electronic devices. Our goal is to provide families with a fun and unique way to bond over a sweet treat. We are excited to bring our whimsical ice cream truck to our community and share our love of ice cream with you!
